How do I use this correctly?
To use, get your flat brush wet, wipe the end of it against the edge of your water container to remove any access water. Carefully swipe your damp brush against your face paint cake until you create a creamy consistency. Make sure to form the crisp edges of the brush as you load it. Once you have a nice load, you can paint on the face/body with smooth solid strokes to cover large areas. Use the Rainbow Flow flat brush to paint scallops, one stroke petals or creatures. Just load it with a split cake and release all of the colors with your varied strokes. You can drag just the sharp edge to paint lines. Add water to just the tips or mist the brush to reload if the colors start to fade out, and reload into the cake.
To clean, If you are using a water activated face paint, wash brushes with hand soap or professional brush soap between uses. You can also use makeup removers like Jest Paint Brush and Body Wash, For silicone based paints use an oil based product to break down and wipe away face paint from this brush, or GTX Brush Cleaner. Allow brushes to fully dry before using again. For alcohol based paints use a product like Proaiir Brush Cleaner.
To store your paint brushes, make sure to keep them in a protective case when transporting them to your gigs. I suggest a brush wallet for an organized display on the job, and for safe storage. When you get home from a gig, wash your brushes as needed and let your brushes fully dry out before closing the wallet up for long term storage.
Tips: Hanging brushes upside down or at a downward angle is the best way to dry them out thoroughly and keep water from soaking into the ferrule, which can lead to cracking of the painted handle over time. Make sure not to leave your brushes in the paint water while working, this can bend the tips and also damage the handles.

This is made of a wooden handle and nickel ferrule with synthetic taklon based bristles. These crisp bristles are easy to clean, but staining may occur like with any face paint brush. The wooden handle comes with a custom pastel rainbow paint job that is coated to help prevent paint chipping. Each color is painted one at a time, making this a complex custom paint job that really pops!
