HOW TO ACTIVATE DIPS, PROAIIR HYBRID & INKS AIRBRUSH LIQUID FACE AND BODY PAINTS?
These face and body paints are in a liquid form so they do not need to be activated. You can use them just as they come or you can thin them out using the proper thinner available on our site.
HOW TO APPLY DIPS, PROAIIR HYBRID & INKS AIRBRUSH LIQUID FACE AND BODY PAINTS?
You can use a face painting sponge or face painting brush to apply these products if you will not be covering large areas of the skin. If you are body painting and would like to cover a larger surface in more time, using less product, we recommend using an airbrush gun to apply these face and body paints. Keep in mind that the final look also depends on the tool used. An airbrush gun will give you a much smoother look when applied correctly.
Specific Directions for Proaiir Hybrid and INKS airbrush body paints: Note that they are Alcohol based and non toxic. Shake bottles well before using since separation may occur. Apply in a well ventilated area away from open flames. Clean skin before application for a longer lasting effect. Do not apply over beauty make up or sun tan lotion. Skin is best! Apply light coat first and gradually apply more coats to deepen colors.
When using an airbrush gun to apply Hybrids use 15 psi. Use 18-25 PSI when applying the INKS.
HOW TO REMOVE PROAIIR HYBRID, INKS AND DIPS FACE AND BODY PAINTS?
DIPS and Proaiir Hybrid face and body paint can be removed easily with just liquid soap, oil, or makeup remover. You can use a soft sponge or cloth to aid in the removal process. Always start by coating the skin with a thin layer of liquid hand soap or an oil based remover. Once you have worked it into the face paint and see the face paint breaking down, you can rinse it away with water. You might need to repeat this process a few times. Always make sure to be gentle, excessive rubbing or use of soaps can cause irritation. Also, we suggest not to use scented baby wipes since the perfume can cause allergic reactions. If any stains are left on the skin, consider using lotion. You might need to let the lotion set in for a few minutes before wiping it off. In the rare case in which a stain is still visible after this process, please wait for 24 hours before attempting to wash off the area again. Normal sweating and oil production from your skin will aid int he removal process.
Keep in mind that all face paints can stain since it depends mostly on your skin type. If you are concerned, always try a small patch of the color on the area to be painted and test for stains 30 minutes after. If the color does leave a stain, you might want to consider using a different color if that concerns you. Colors like dark green, dark blue and teal are usually more likely to stain in every brand.
To remove the Proaiir Hybrid and DIPS from your face painting brushes and sponges, we recommend using a brush soap like the Proaiir ProCleaner. These soaps are designed to remove oils and pigments off your tools and will do a much better job than regular hand soap. Once your tools have been washed off and thoroughly rinsed to remove all traces of soap, let them dry out completely before storing them. You can also use 70% alcohol to clean your brushes and fabric.
To remove Proaiir INKS from the skin use 91% Isopropyl Alcohol or baby oil. Let either of the them set in to the paint in order to loosen the product. Proceed to gently rub the area with a sponge using some soap and water. If you have been fully painted we recommend oiling up and soaking in a warm tub since warm water helps loosen up the body paint before attempting to remove it.
To remove Proaiir INKS from your airbrush equipment, use 91-99% Alcohol or Denatured alcohol. You can soak your gun tips in alcohol once you have pulled your needle in.
HOW TO STORE PROAIIR FACE AND BODY PAINTS?
Like with all cosmetic products, it is always best to keep PROAIIR face and body paints away from a direct light source and in a cool and dry environment. Excessive heat dry up and spoil your face paints really and excessive light can fade the colors.
Make sure to always keep the lids/caps closed to prevent evaporation and spilling. Proaiir has a 3-5 year shelf life after the bottle has been opened, and 10 years unopened.
