How do I Use GTX BRUSH CLEANER to Remove Water Resistant Makeup?
When you are ready to clean your paint brush, swish it around in a small amount of product. I recommend putting a little bit in the bottom of a sturdy cup. Wipe of any remaining paint on a paper towel. Your brush should be pretty dry once it is wiped off. Once it is clean you can reload into a different color. Do not rinse with water.
If your water resistant silicone based paint Cream Paints are getting tacky or dry in your palette, you can use a very slightly damp brush to reactivate the paint.
*Use this product sparingly. Since it is designed to thin the paint, you want to make sure you don't accidentally dilute the Cream Paint if the brush is still too wet with the cleaner. Diluting the paint can lead to transparency and will decrease it's water resistance. It will also increase the time it will take for the paint to dry on the skin.
This is a non-cosmetic product but it is made with FDA skin safe ingredients, so it is safe to come in contact with it while you work. It has a bit of a solvent smell, so make sure to use in a well ventilated area.
GTX Soap is recommended for primarily cleaning makeup off of your tools. GTX suggests using their Makeup Towelettes to remove the paint off of the skin for best results.
