What are Ben Nye Lumiere Grande Powders best for?

Ben Nye Lumiere Powders are full of shimmer. These are beautiful colors to use alone on the face or to apply over face paint to add extra color and shine. The colors included in this palette are: Ice, Aztec Gold, Silver, Azalea, Cosmic Blue, Sun Yellow, Iced Gold, Tangerine, Chartreuse, Jade, Amethyst, and Cosmic Violet. Depending on the designs, you can get at least 50 - 100 applications.

How to apply and remove?

In order to get the strongest and longest lasting coverage is best to use a primer on the face before applying the powders. You can also use Mehron Mixing Liquid or Benye Liquiset to apply the colors wet, though it may be difficult to apply them dry again in the future if the powders become to matted. Lumiere Grand Colour Powders are best applied with a smoothie blender or eye shadow brush. These powders are easily removed with soap and water.

What else should I know about Ben Nye Lumiere face painting powders?

Please be aware that powder based paints are much more fragile than regular face paints with a glycerin and/or wax base. You must take special care when transporting your powders to events, and when loading them onto your applicators.

Why are they fragile? In order to have a powder paint that will load easily and quickly it needs to be somewhat loose so that the powder will break up and end up on your applicator.

What if they arrive damaged?
We also strongly recommend adding shipping insurance to your order if it includes powder paints because Jest Paint is not responsible for damage that occurs to your products after they leave our store.

Can I fix them?
There are two great options for repairing your powders, so e-mail us if they incur any damage.
