What is the amazing True Leaf Arty Brush Cake best for?

True Leaf is a bold green gradient that is perfect for painting leaves, snakes, dragons, turtles, zombies, lizards, forest fairy wings and so much more! True Leaf has a lot of punch and will stand out on any skin tone. Use a 3/4" brush to paint dimensional leaves around your roses. This cake was highly recommended by other painters as being the perfect leaf color combo, so we had to carry it at Jest Paint. Arty Brush Cakes are small painting rainbow cakes that combine a few different colors that blend well together. Arty Brush Cakes make it possible to create beautiful designs with a quick stroke of a brush or swipe of a sponge!

How do I apply Arty Brush cakes?

Arty Brush Cakes are best applied using a 3/4" or 1" flat, angled or filbert brush. Wet your painting brush or use a spritzer spray bottle to wet the split cake slightly then move the brush back and forth over the split cake. Choose a brush size based on how many colors you want to pick up. Hold the cake vertically so that any dripping paint will run down the color of the stripe, and not across the whole paint cake, mixing black into it's neighboring colors. Put just the tiny tip of your brush back in your water cup if you need to add more water. You want the paint to be fully loaded, appearing wet and shiny, but not drippy. Make sure that your brush is lined up with the correct colors when you reload. When you paint make sure not to twist your brush so much that the dark edge goes over the lighter color. Rinse and repeat if colors start to get too mixed. There are tons of stroke demos on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.

How do I remove this paint?

Use a moist soapy cloth or sponge to wipe the paint off the painted surface. Do not rinse the surface off with water first, or it may be more difficult to remove it. Rinse out the cloth or sponge and repeat if necessary.
