How should I apply and remove Kraze FX special effects paints?

Kraze FX paints are easy to apply with water and a painting sponge. For painting with a sponge, simply dip the brush in water and then dab off any access water back into the cup. Load the damp sponge back and forth over the paint cake until you have worked it up into a nice creamy consistency. Make sure to load it from one side towards the center and then from the other side towards the center so that you use your cake evenly and so not to flatten out the center by going over it straight across. Once your sponge is fully loaded and the paint is not to dry or drippy you can apply it onto the using sweeping motions or patting motions. Move your sponge back and forward by patting it gently until you have a nice and even opaque layer. If you need to add more paint to your sponge quickly dip just the tip of your sponge into your water and then load it with more paint. Make sure to line up your sponge with the correct colors every time you go back for another load. If water pools on the edges, tip and drain the cake.

To remove Kraze FX colors, simply wipe the paint off with a warm soapy cloth or sponge and rinse the paint away with warm water. Repeat if necessary.

Keep in mind that this also applies to natural henna and permanent tattoo inks, as the FDA has not tested those either for skin application. The FDA is aware of the use of these pigments on skin and has yet to determine them to be a priority for testing, which usually means they are not heavily concerned about them. In general, FDA does recommend that reds (this includes yellows and oranges) and blues (this includes greens and purples) as well as neon colors should not be used around the eye and lip area or left on the skin too long. The shelf life for Kraze FX face paints is 12 months once the container has been opened. If the container has not been opened and the paint has been kept dry, it can still be used 5-8 years after production.
