What are PARADISE UV GLOW NEON paints best for?
Mehron's Paradise Neon Paints are great for creating bases and blending colors together for black light painting. This palette of UV colors is a perfect travel kit for parties and Halloween special effects.
PLEASE NOTE: Colors under black lights will be different depending on the type of black light, the base color you are painting over and the distance the paint is away from the black light. They will not look the same at all as they do under regular lights. See the images provided to see how they have the potential for many shades.
Neon colors are not as opaque as regular matte or pearl paints, so you may have to apply a few layers to get a solid coverage under regular light. You will not need a very solid coverage for it to glow under black light.
Mehron paints are Infused with skin soothing ingredients like Aloe, Avocado Oil, Cucumber, Lemongrass, and Cocoa Seed Butter.
How to apply and remove Neon Paints?
Apply with a dampened sponge or brush. We recommend that you apply water to your brush or sponge and then load the paint rather than spraying your paints. To remove use a moist soapy cloth or sponge to wipe the paint off the painted surface. Paint won't come off some surfaces like fabrics or other porous materials.
What else should I know about Mehron Neon Paints?
Neon colors are made with pigments that have not been approved by the FDA to be used in cosmetics (the FDA has not tested them yet for cosmetic use). According to the manufacturer they use the highest quality ingredients and each is made in their own facility in New York. Following FDA guidelines, they are labeled as a Special FX product. This paint can be used over fabrics, prosthetics, paper, etc that can be then attached to the skin with a skin safe adhesive to create amazing special effects.
They have a vegan and cruelty free formula. These colors are highly pigmented under black light and some colors have a UV effect under regular light. Paradise is a semi-soft, vitamin enriched water activated paint that provides incredible color depth and controlled coverage. Goes on smoothly and dries quickly.
