How should I apply and remove Kraze FX Special Effects Paints?

Kraze paints are easy to apply with water and a painting brush or sponge. To paint using a brush, simply dip the brush in water and then dab off any access water back into the cup. Load the damp brush back and forth over the paint cake until you have worked it up into a nice creamy consistency. Once your brush is fully loaded and the paint is not to dry or drippy you can apply it to the surface to be painted in smooth strokes. Stroke the paint onto the surface back and forth until you have a nice even opaque layer. If you need to add more paint to your brush quickly dip just the tip of your brush into your water and then load your brush with more paint making sure that you line up the colors the same way they were previously loaded onto your sponge or brush. To use with a sponge you can either lightly spray a dry sponge, or get the sponge wet by dipping it in water. Wring out any excess water so that you can get a nice creamy load of paint. Rub the sponge back and forth against the cake until you see that it is well loaded. Just load up what you need, so that you don't waste any paint. To apply to the skin, quickly tap the make up onto the surface to be painted going back and forth until you have a smooth opaque base. Tapping will smooth out any unevenness in the color. To remove Kraze FX special effects paints, simply wipe the paint off with a warm soapy cloth or sponge and rinse the paint away with warm water. If you try to rinse it off initially with water it will be harder to remove, so always start with soap! Repeat if necessary. You can also use makeup removers like Lush Brush, or an oil based product to break down and wipe away this paint. Keep in mind that this paint might not come off of all surfaces, like fabrics.

Neon colors are made with pigments that have not been approved by the USA Cosmetic Regulator to be used in cosmetics (the agency has not tested them yet for cosmetic use). According to the manufacturer they have been independently tested and determined safe for cosmetic use by independent labs and by other government agencies in different countries. Following the regulator’s guidelines, they are labeled as a Special FX Product - Prosthetic Paint (for professional use only) - Not a cosmetic Product Apply product to prosthetic appliances, bald caps, clothing, etc. This applies ONLY to the UV/Neon pigments in this product and not to the rest of the pigments, and ONLY in the USA and some parts of Europe.

Additional Info from Manufacturer: Neon colors as with most other brands are not tested by FDA for cosmetic use on skin and hence are labeled for use as Hair & Special FX only. Independent studies have however deemed them safe for use on skin and face painters have been using them for designs without known issues. Keep in mind that this also applies to natural henna and permanent tattoo inks, as the FDA has not tested those either for skin application. The FDA is aware of the use of these pigments on skin and has yet to determine them to be a priority for testing, which usually means they are not heavily concerned about them. In general, FDA does recommend that reds (this includes yellows and oranges) and blues (this includes greens and purples) as well as neon colors should not be used around the eye and lip area or left on the skin too long. The shelf life for Kraze FX face paints is 12 months once the container has been opened. If the container has not been opened and the paint has been kept dry, it can still be used 5-8 years after production.
