Please read the following information before adding shipping insurance to your cart.

Please note: This shipping insurance does not cover the following
- Loss, damage, shortage, or non-arrival of any parcel and its contents which is addressed incorrectly, or cracked paint for which the container is fine, only the actual paint is cracked.

CLAIMS

IMPORTANT: The package recipient should hold damaged items and damaged packaging in the event they are requested during claims processing. Failure to retain or physically report damaged property to a local post office could affect final settlement of the claim. A copy of the invoice or information to find such copy will be needed to process the claim. Failure to provide an invoice or information to find it, will make it impossible for us to file a claim.
 

Concealed Damage - allows for the discovery of loss or damage up to 15 days after final delivery. Concealed damage allows for the discovery of loss or damage up to 15 days after final delivery. The loss is deemed to have possibly occurred during the insured transit. Discovery of loss or damage occurring 16 days or later after final delivery is deemed to have occurred while the shipment was NOT in transit, and therefore, is not covered.

A SHIPSURANCE claim form and all required documents must be provided within 90 calendar days from the date of shipment. A complete claim submission will include the following documents: SHIPSURANCE claim form, a copy of the carrier's tracer form, a copy of the invoice, photos of damaged goods and packaging, a repair estimate, signed claim statement by recipient, and any other documentation requested by SHIPSURANCE.

Please note: If the claim is for a lost package, you must wait 20 calendar days before filing the claim with SHIPSURANCE.

Warning: any fraudulent claims will make the shipper and/or package recipient liable for prosecution for mail fraud under the Federal Criminal Code.
