This palette contains the following colors: Cloud White, Bright Red, Azure Blue, Sunshine Yellow, Kelly Green, and Licorice Black. Ben Nye has a really unique line of face paints for professional artists known as MagiCakes. MagiCakes have been in the industry for a long time and they greatly improved over the years in both their colors and consistency. The Ben Nye Magicakes are powder based, meaning that they are a densely pressed powder versus a glycerine or waxed based paint that has more of a clay like consistency. Anyone would love these paints, but they are especially great for people who work under hot and humid conditions and do not want their paints to melt in their containers. The finish is matte, so they are also awesome for photography and film projects. You can shimmer them up with mica products like Mehron's Precious Gem Powders or glitter. They work much better when used wet than when used dry. Only the Sunshine Yellow, Azure Blue and Cosmic blue load easily when used dry. And most importantly, The Ben Nye Magicake colors are very rich and vibrant! You can achieve solid brush strokes and base work, and they are great when layering colors!
How to apply and remove?
Apply with a damp sea or hydra sponge, gently pat surface while moist to even out texture. For a smudge resistant finish, use Liquiset in place of water. Remove with Hydra Cleanse.
