Neon colors are not as opaque as regular matte or pearl paints, so you may need to apply a few layers to get solid coverage under regular light. However, full coverage is not required for the paint to glow under black light.

How do I use this correctly?

To use add a small amount of water to your brush or sponge and then load the paint onto your tool, rather than spraying the paints with water. Sweep your sponge or brush across the cake until you have created a light, creamy paste. Adjust the amount of water depending on your desired coverage—use more water for a sheer application or less water for bold, opaque results. You want the paint to be fully loaded, but not drippy. Sponging on will give you the smoothest base. For added longevity and to help prevent staining, you may apply Mehron Barrier Spray before applying Paradise or after application to enhance long wear and water resistance.

To remove it, first add liquid soap to the painted area. Work the soap into the paint until you have loosened all of the pigment, and then use a soft sponge or cloth with water to remove the soap and paint. Do not use water before the soap, or you will have a harder time removing the paint. If, by chance, any stains are left, apply some lotion or skin-safe oil to the stained area for a few minutes and then wash again. You can also use makeup removers like Jest Paint Brush and Body Wash to break down and wipe away this paint. In the very unlikely case that any stains remain after that, do not continue scrubbing, as that can cause irritation. Wait until the next day—sweat and friction with bed sheets will usually remove any leftover traces. Never go to bed without removing your face paint.

To store your paints, make sure that they are dry. Once they are fully dry, put the lids back on and store them in a cool and dry place away from direct light sources.

Tips: Make sure to never leave your paints inside a hot car, under the sun or by a window; this can melt them and ruin them. Use responsibly and follow safety guidelines for Special FX products.
