How do I use this correctly?

To use add water to your brush or sponge and then load the paint onto your tool, rather than spraying the paints with water. Sweep your sponge or brush across the cake until you have created a light, creamy paste. You want the paint to be fully loaded, but not drippy. Sponging on will give you the smoothest base.

To remove it, first add liquid soap to your face or painted area (be careful around the eyes and mouth). Work the soap into the paint until you have loosened all of the pigment, and then use a soft sponge or cloth with water to remove the soap and paint. Do not use water before the soap, or you will have a harder time removing the face paint. If, by chance, any stains are left, apply some lotion or skin-safe oil to the stained area for a few minutes and then wash again. In the very unlikely case that any stains remain after that, do not continue scrubbing, as that can cause skin irritation. Wait until the next day—sweat and friction with bed sheets will usually remove any leftover traces. But remember: never go to bed without removing your face paint.

To store your face paints make sure that they are dry. Once they are fully dry then put the lids back on and store them in a cool and dry place away from direct light sources.

Tips: make sure to never leave your face paints inside a hot car, under the sun or by a window; this can melt them and ruin them.
