What is this Mehron Mixing Liquid best for?
Mehron Mixing Liquid is an alcohol based product for mixing dry pigments such as Mehron Metallic Powders or Precious Gem Powders.
Mixing Liquid creates a liquid paint out of your loose powders that dries completely and makes your powders much more opaque and smudge proof, and capable to do clean line work.
You can also use this product with Ben Nye Magicakes or StarBlends to create a pretty water resistant face paint. If you use it on your cakes, it might be hard to use them again dry or with water.
Dilute Mehron’s Liquid Makeup for smooth, long-wear airbrush applications.
How should I use Mehron Mixing Liquid?
From the Manufacturer: Mix a small amount of Mixing Liquid with pigments like Precious Gem™ Powder or Metallic Powder to create an opaque, long-wear liquid makeup. Apply the mixture with a brush or sponge. To create long-wear airbrush makeup combine Mixing Liquid with Liquid Makeup to run through an airbrush. Remove with soap and water.
