What is VODA (VIBE) Metallic Gold liquid water resistant face and body paint best for?
European Body Art's VODA Water Based Metallic Gold is a semi sheer color of body paint that can be built up into a solid Gold if you add more thin layers. The 1oz size is good for testing this Gold face paint out, or it is a perfect size for a small project. European Body Art redeveloped their VIBE formula to decrease the chances of clogging when using with an Airbrush. With this redevelopment they changed the name to VODA. It has the same great qualities that VIBE had. VODA (VIBE) water resistant alcohol free face and body paint is a liquid makeup specially designed by European Body Art to be used in situations when you need a long lasting sweat and water resistant makeup that is not alcohol based. Being alcohol free makes VODA the perfect choice for painting young kids that are sensitive to alcohol based face paints. *VODA repels water but it isn't waterproof and friction proof when wet. Colors may fade in a chlorinated pool and it is easier for the paint to break down when exposed to chlorine, so it isn't recommended for pool parties or bounce houses.
VODA (VIBE) is not as long lasting as Endura, which is EBA's alcohol based line. Thanks to its high pigmentation and thickness, VODA (VIBE) face and body paints can be used both with an airbrush or with a regular body painting sponge and brush.
How to apply and remove VODA (VIBE) water resistant face and body paints?
If using an airbrush simply pour some makeup into your airbrush gun and spray at the desired pressure depending on the effect you wish to achieve. You can go as low as 5-15 psi. Keep in mind that it is best to work in layers moving your airbrush gun back and forth over the surface until you obtain the opacity you are looking for. If you go over too many times the makeup can start to crack. If using a sponge or brush, simply pour some VODA (VIBE) face and body paint into a small container and dip your sponge or brush into the product and then apply it to the skin. Make sure to shake the bottle well before pouring the paint as pigment can settle at the bottom of the bottle when not in use for prolonged periods of time. To remove VODA (VIBE) water resistant face and body paints from the skin it is best to use liquid soap, warm water and a gentle sponge. You can also use lotion or baby oil to help with that process. Once the paint has been loosened you can use soap and a soft sponge to gently wash the paint off. It might be necessary for you to do this a few times before all makeup is gone. To clean your airbrush gun, sponges and brushes use warm water and soap. Soak the tools for a few minutes in a soapy solution until the paint is loose and then use water to rinse.
