The size of the cake is 2 1/2 inches, 2 1/4 inches and 1/2 inches tall.
**This particular color combo may come in a slightly taller container depending on the batch. The thicker containers measure 11/16 inches tall with lid on, 9/16 inches tall without the lid. You will not be able to stack two layers of the thicker ones in the black laptop cases.

Cotton Candy large rainbow split cake is a gorgeous and bold looking cake, perfect for painting floral inspired designs (lilacs, irises, lilies) or princess crowns.
How to apply and remove this special effects paint?
The large split cakes can be used in their entirety if you load all of the colors up on half of a circle sponge. You can load the flat side of the sponge, or the rounded side. If you load on the rounded side you have more control over how much of the rainbow you want to press against the skin as you work around the face. You simply rock the sponge and pat as you move around the face. If you use the flat side of the sponge you will get the whole rainbow on the face, unless you pull up one of the edges of the sponge…which can lead to messy hands.
You can also use your round, flat or filbert brushes to load two or more colors from the cake, depending on the width of the brush you choose. You could use half of the cake for a gradient background, and the remaining colors to put flowers, hearts etc. on top, and everything will match. You might like trying to load 2-3 colors and sponge staggered stripes coming out from around the eye. Then, filling in the space with the other 2-3 colors flipped, so that you have actually changed the order of the colors for variety sake. Have fun!
Play with your cakes and try new things to keep you happily painting! In order to remove DFX, use a makeup remover like Jest Paint Brush and Body Wash. Gently clean the painted surface trying to remove as much pigment as possible and then rinse the paint off with clean warm water. Allow your Diamond FX cakes to dry out completely before you store them. Store in a cool dry place away from direct light.
