 What are the dimension of the Art Factory NEW Clear Insert?

The New  Insert fits in the Solid Black Pro Lap Top Plain Face Painting Case . Inserts are made of a thin yet sturdy PVC plastic material.

The whole  Insert measures The insert measures 12" x 9 1/2" x 1/2"

The 16 large rectangular slots are approximately 2.125" x 2.5" . Each slot can hold approx. 50 grams of face paint or 1 of the traditional 50gr rainbow cakes. You can also fit  two one stroke cakes in the brands listed below in each slot with a little wiggle room. 

What is the Clear Face Paint Insert Best For?

The new insert was designed for face painters who like to build their own compact face painting kits. You can fill these spaces up however you like with single colors or with two or more colors together. Build your own large one strokes, two color splits, graffiti / sushi cakes, double dip cakes and more!

Most standard 50gr rectangular cakes fit in this insert very snugly.  If you want to remove them while working you may have to lift up the insert and pop them out from the bottom.

We tested these brands in the 50gr size (TAG, Fusion, Diamond FX, Kryvaline, Global, FPA) and they fit.   Silly Farm Large Rainbow Cakes and Paradise Prisma do not fit. 

You can also fit two small 1 stroke cakes in each slot of the following brands with a little space left - 30gr TAG, Fusion, Diamond FX, Kryvaline, SF Arty Cakes, Kraze FX cakes and Global.

*PLEASE NOTE  The insert / Liner  is a perfect size to put in the commonly used Black Lap Top Case or Navy Lap Top Case.   If you place two inserts in the case you can close the case, but you cannot do that if you have the face paint containers inside the inserts, they are too thick.
