What is this Rinse Well Fresh Water System Designed For?

This product will change the way you face paint forever! No more dirty cups of water on your table!! The Fresh Water Rinse Well is a great tool for face painters! This brush cleaning system allows for fresh rinse water at the touch of a button. You can flush about 12-18 times per bottle.

The Rinse Well consists of a plastic bottle, a plastic base with a ridged well to help cleanse your brushes and a reservoir to collect the used, dirty water. When you are ready for a fresh start, simply push the button and the dirty water will drain and automatically fresh water will fill the base so you are ready to paint again! When you need to empty the reservoir take off the bottle, unscrew the top reservoir lid and tip the dirty water into a collection bucket or sink.

I keep a brush on the side just for helping sweep out any sediment that is too heavy and starts to collect in the dish. Sometimes I do have one big opaque cup that I rinse the heavy paint off first, and then I finish for a final rinse in the Rinse Well.

Your face painting kit will look so professional and your clients will love to see that everyone gets fresh water every time.

You can use the Rinse Well to improve your sanitation efforts due to the Covid-19 coronavirus. Rinse your brushes in water and then sanitize your brushes with at least 60% alcohol. Let them air dry completely before using them again. Drain the water and alcohol down into the base after each rinse-out of your brushes.

What come in the Rinse Well Fresh Water System?

This system come with a bottle with a drain cap and the base with flushing system. There are some holes around the base to put your favorite brushes in! You can also buy a flat cap if you want to use your bottle to store water on the way to a gig. Flat caps do not come with the system.

If your bottle breaks or gets lost, you can also buy a new one, without having to buy a whole new system. Click here if you would like to see the spare Rinse Well Bottles.  We even have extra Drain Caps if you lose one too.

How Much Water Does the Rinse Well Bottle Hold?

This bottle holds 28 oz. Since you will only use a small amount of water between each client you can paint about 10-15 people with one bottle.

If you have long gigs, it is a great idea to have one or two or more extra refill bottles on hand so that you have enough water to get through your event without having to do more than unscrew the empty bottle and pop on a new one. You can also just bring a 2L bottle of water to refill your main bottle.

Keep a bucket under your table to dump your dirty water.

How do I operate the Rinse Well?

Fill the bottle to the very top with clean water. Position the small thin spout next to the large draining hole towards the front the bowel when you flip the bottle onto the system. Once flipped and in place the bowl will automatically fill with water. When you want to drain the bowl, just hold down the button until all of the water is gone.

If you have to jiggle the bottle to get the water to flow into the basin after flushing it: Always fill your bottle up to the top of the rim with water and then cap it. This prevents tiny bubbles from blocking the drain spout when you flip the bottle.

If your bowl is draining when you are not flushing it: There is a screw on the drain mechanism that you can tighten if it gets loose and the water drains without pressing the button. Look inside the bowl lid for the screw.

If you have draining issues from the bottle into the bowl - Sometimes a small amount of residue from the molding process may remain on the inside of the cap. This residue can cause water to bead, which may block either the air vent or water outlet, preventing the system from refilling automatically.

If you notice this issue, wash the spouted cap in hot water with a degreasing dish soap. Make sure to clean both holes and the inside of the cap thoroughly, scrubbing with a dishcloth. Use a cotton swab or pipe cleaner to clean the small air vent. Once the residue is gone, the water should flow normally again.

If your bowl is filling too high: The drain on the bottle cap has two holes, a small one and a larger one pressed together. Make sure to set the bottle on the bowl so that the tiny spout in the cap is facing forward, closest to the bowl.

If the lowest part of the spout (on the cap) is positioned towards the back of “trench”, then it will fill to a very high level. If you turn the bottle, so that the lowest part of the spout is positioned toward the front of the “trench”, then the water will fill to a lower level. Why does this work? The quicker the water level hits that lower part of the spout, the quicker the water will stop flowing from the bottle… creating a shallower pool of water in the bowl.
