The new Diamond FX containers were designed to stop evaporation after manufacturing. The cakes of paint are thicker, but less wide. They have the same amount of paint as the old containers.
How to apply and remove it?
Apply with a dampened sponge or brush. We recommend that you apply water to your brush or sponge and then load the paint rather than spraying your paints. Neon colors tend to be a bit more translucent than regular colors so you might need to get the paint creamier on your brush or sponge before applying it.
What is Diamond FX Neon Magenta best for?
All Diamond FX Neon colors are very bright under black light and can be successfully used for base work and line work. You will have to apply Neon Magenta thickly in order to create decent bases and line work that will look good under regular light.
What else should I know about Diamond FX Neon Paints?
All neon colors are hypoallergenic. They contain no perfume, parabens or lanolin to reduce the risk of allergic reactions. Diamond FX cakes are vegan and they are not tested on animals. Please keep in mind that this Special Effects neon paint has neon pigments that have yet to be tested by the USA FDA to be classified as a cosmetic product. Since the FDA has not yet tested these pigments, in the USA and Europe these products need to be labeled as special effects products not intended to be used on the skin. They can be used on hair, clothes, prosthetics, paper, etc. These neon cakes are considered face paint in other countries like Australia. According to the manufacturer, the pigments have been tested by independent laboratories and are considered safe for cosmetic application. Diamond FX cakes are made in Vietnam under the direction of Diamond FX (a Netherlands company).
