What is Art Factory Pink Glue best for?
The Original Pink Glue is the first glue that was ever developed for glitter tattoos. The glue might have a faint pink tint to it, but it dries clear. The manufacturer suggests that you can get between 80-100 tattoos and will last on the skin anywhere from 3 to 13 days on the skin. Tattoos should last longer than a few days if taken good care of by avoiding soap, friction, lotion and oils.
Pink Glue is Latex-free, Hypoallergenic, and Dermatologist Tested. Since it is difficult to remove once dry, we do not recommend it's use on the face unless needed.
Pink Glue is used most often used in the makeup industry for Glitter Tattoos and is also used for attaching gems and prosthetics to the skin. Once the glue has been applied in a thin layer and allowed to dry a little, the glitter, gems or prosthetics grabs onto the glue on the skin.
The duration of glitter tattoos will depend on the area of the body that you apply, the persons skin type and the care before and after applying.
The duration for prosthetic varies based on the clients skin type, location, size and weight of the prosthetic.
How to apply and remove Pink Glue Glue?
The easy to use PINK GLUE 15ml finger nail polish brush applicator will help you apply a thin layer of glue to the open areas in your glitter tattoo stencils. For best results, use an alcohol wipe to clean the skin before applying the glue. You can use a paint brush or lip gloss style applicator to apply the glue if the applicator in the lid disconnects due to prolonged use.
Wait for the glue to turn clear before applying glitter or gems. For a strong hold and to avoid a mess, it is essential to let it get clear and tacky.
For prosthetics, apply glue on the skin and on the prosthetic in a thin layer. Once the glue is clear you can apply a second layer for extra staying power and once that is dry, press the prosthetic to the skin firmly to bond the layers of glue.
To increase the duration of PINK Glue on the skin, avoid sun tan lotions, body oils, creams or alcohol based products. Do not pick or rub the design, and wash gently around the tattoo with hand soap. Avoid rubbing soap into the glue.
You can remove PINK Glue with isopropyl alcohol, isopropyl myristate or oil, like baby oil. It is not easy to remove this product on the same day as the application, so only use for long term projects. Most often kids will wear their glitter tattoos until they just wear off naturally from sweat and friction.
For glitter tattoo removal, I like to apply baby oil to the design and then put a very warm wet wash cloth on the skin to soften the glue. I let it set for a few minutes before wiping away the glitter.
While the wet adhesive is water-based and can be cleaned with water, once it dries, its water-based nature is replaced by its ability to create water-impermeable adhesion to skin surfaces.
How to store PINK Glue?
Keep PINK Glue in a cool dry environment away from direct sunlight. Keep sealed tightly. Do not allow PINK Glue to Freeze. If it freezes it will become a solid and cannot be used. Use within 12 months of opening.
What else should I know about Pink Glue Adhesive?
A 15ml bottle can create at least 80-120 temporary tattoos using 3 Layer Stencils. The amount of tattoos you can do will depend on the size of the tattoos and if you use one or more layers.
Like any other cosmetic product, there may be a small chance that you may have a reaction to Pink Glue. If for any reason an irritation or rash occurs, seek immediate doctor’s attention.

¿Cómo aplicar, retirar y conservar Art Factory Pink Glue?

No es fácil retirar este producto el mismo día de la aplicación, así que úselo solo para proyectos a largo plazo.
