Insurance for Packages sent Outside the USA and its Territories
Insurance for Packages Sent Outside the USA and its Territories
International claims are different from domestic claims—they have to be coordinated with foreign postal administrations. Please read the following information before adding International Shipping Insurance to your cart.
We offer low prices to insure your valuable paints!
When you report your package lost or damaged to us it may take 1-3 weeks for the insurance to complete a claim from the day they receive it.
IMPORTANT - It is possible that you will be asked to report the damage to your local post office location and send us a PS Form 3831 that they will give to you. Save packaging and products!
We will then be contacted by the insurance company with their decision. If the insurance pays the claim we will issue a refund to you for the amount given to us by the insurance company.
We are not responsible if the insurance company refuses to pay for the claim, but we will do our best to pursue the payment of any legitimate claim.
The package recipient should hold damaged items and damaged packaging in the event they are requested during claims processing. Failure to retain or physically report damaged property to a local post office could affect final settlement of the claim. A copy of the invoice or information to find such copy will be needed to process the claim. Failure to provide an invoice or information to find it, will make it impossible for us to file a claim.
PLEASE NOTE: when buying shipping insurance you agree to the following policies depending on who we buy the insurance from. Currently we are buying insurance from InsureShield, up until Nov 23rd 2025 the insurance provider was Shipsurance.
Click here to read Shipsurance Policies (only valid for packages shipped until November 22nd 2025).

Warning: any fraudulent claims will make the shipper and/or package recipient liable for prosecution for mail fraud under the Federal Criminal Code.
