How to Use Fusion Body Art Face Painting Stencils

Face and Body Art stencils take a bit of practice to master, but once you get the hang of them, you’ll be able to complete face painting jobs much more quickly! Start with a clean stencil and ensure that the skin is completely dry before applying it; otherwise, the paint might appear streaky. Press the Fusion Stencil firmly against the skin using the tab provided with one finger and the opposite end of the stencil with another one, keeping your fingers close to the area you’re painting. Use a stippling technique to apply the face paint, filling in all the spaces evenly. Gently remove the stencil from the skin. How to Store my Fusion Face Painting Stencils?

All face and body art stencils are fragile tools that need careful handling to ensure they last for years. Before storing them, ensure they are both dry and clean. Rinse the stencil under a gentle stream of water, then use a soft towel to carefully wipe both sides. Move gently to avoid bending any parts of the stencil. For tough stains, a bit of soap can help. After drying the stencils with a towel, put them away. Many professional face painters use a snap ring to store their stencils and keep them in a part of their kit where they won’t be damaged. You might also store them in a small case or use a photo or trading card album to keep them separated and easily accessible. Some artists attach tiny pieces of Velcro to one tab of each stencil and hang them from a Velcro strip in their kit, or use the holes to hang them on a peg or pin board.
